About us: ColdBack, refrigeration and air conditioning from Majdan

Who we are

The ColdBack team has worked together since 2021, and in 2025 the business became the company ColdBack Sp. z o.o. We are a small company and that is a deliberate choice: the same people design a system, install it and then service it. This means we know every system we hand over and what to expect from it in a few years' time.

Our base is in Majdan, in the Wiązowna municipality, just beyond the eastern border of Warsaw. Our three service vans set off from here with spare parts on board.

How we work

• We start with calculations. We size the room and the condensing unit from a heat load calculation, not from a table, so the equipment is neither too small nor oversized.
• Quote within 48 hours. After a conversation, photos or a site visit, we prepare a specific quote.
• Installation with a report. We commission every system with a leak test, evacuation and a commissioning report, and after installation we create an entry in the Central Register of Operators (CRO).
• Fast service. Our vans carry parts, so we fix around 80% of breakdowns on the first visit.
• Service contracts. Clients with a contract get maintenance inspections on fixed dates, 24/7 on-call service and, in Warsaw, arrival within 4 hours of the call.

Certification and documents

ColdBack holds an F-gas certificate for companies, and our technicians have all the documents required to work with refrigerants. We carry out leak checks at the intervals set by F-gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573, with documentation and an entry in the CRO.

Equipment we use

Our projects are based on equipment from reputable manufacturers: Bitzer, Danfoss, Copeland, Dorin, Frascold, Carel, Castel, Kelvion, Carrier and Panasonic. We buy equipment directly from distributors, and our team receives regular training from manufacturers. In new systems we favour low-GWP and natural refrigerants, including CO₂.

Where we work

• We install and service air conditioning in Warsaw and up to 35 km from the city limits, as well as in Mińsk Mazowiecki and Góra Kalwaria.
• We build cold rooms, freezer rooms and blast chilling rooms throughout Masovia (Mazowieckie Province).
• We design and install refrigeration systems and condensing units throughout Poland.

Details and travel times are on the Service area page.

Who we work for

Most often for large-format stores, restaurants and catering, food wholesalers, meat and food processing plants, pet food manufacturers and cold chain logistics companies, and, for air conditioning, for houses, flats and offices. Examples of our work are in the Projects section.
